Jeremy Renner reflects on 'unbelievable battle' of recovery after snowplow accident

Jeremy Renner said that if he hadn't recovered from his nearly fatal snowplow accident that happened exactly a year ago, he would have let a lot of people down in his life.

On Sunday, December 31, the Hawkeye star discussed his rehabilitation journey with cohosts Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper during a visit on CNN's New Year's Eve show.

Ava Berlin Renner, his 10-year-old daughter, was among his "giant family," according to him, who helped him get through his "unbelievable battle."

The actor added, "I would've disappointed and really messed up a lot of people's lives if I would've passed," indicating that, in his opinion, "recovery was just a one-way road."
