The location of the team is Lexington, Kentucky. And the most popular sport in Kentucky is Basketball. Kentucky Wildcats is considered to be one of the most successful teams in the history of the NCAA Division. It is also ranked #2 in the ranking of "richest college basketball teams". The history of this team goes back to 1903 when they played their first season. Mitch Barnhart is the athletic director of this team. John Vincent Calipari is the head coach of this team since 2009. He has served Kentucky Wildcats for almost 13 years and he is still the head coach of the team. Rupp Arena at Central bank center is the arena of the team. The color of the uniform is Blue ( for away) and white (for home). There had been a lot of ideal and greatest players on this team. Dan Issel was the best player on Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team. Kenny walker was the best leading scorer on the team and no one has yet replaced his position as the all-time leading scorer. That is why this team has won a huge number of championships in the past. The student section of the team is the eRUPPtion Zone. University of Louisville Cardinals is considered to be one of the biggest rivalries of the Kentucky Wildcats.
