Ball State Cardinals Men's basketball which is simply known as Cardinals is a team that plays basketball for Ball State University at Muncie, Indiana.
This team be
longs to Mid-American Conference. The uniform of this team has two different colors White for Home and Red for away. The first season of this team was in 1920 and 1921. After their first season, the team didn't get any better success. But after 1970, the team performed very well and made their mark in the history of Basketball. The major success of this team is that in 1990, Ball State became the first team to reach the sweet sixteen of the MAC (Mid-American Conference) in the NCAA tournament.
As we know, the team was formed long ago in 1920. As time passed, the players and coaches of this team kept on changing. The current roaster of Cardinals is consist of 14 players. The coaching staff includes Micheal Lewis as Head Coach, Lou Gudino as Associate Head Coach, Jamal Meeks as Assistant Coach, Ben Botts as Assistant Coach, a special assignment to Head Coach is Boll Comar, Madison Labrador as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, Graduate Assistants are Bo Calhoun, and Corby Mertens.
