Pittsburgh Steelers player Matches schedule

 The Pittsburgh Steelers team is a professional American football, located in Pittsburgh. The team was established 89 years ago on July 8, 1933. 

The team played its very first season in 1933. The headquarter of the team is at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Whereas the training camp of the team is in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. The uniform color of the team is consist of Gold and Black color. And the Mascot of the team is Steely McBeam. The nicknames of the team are Steel Curtain (1971-1981) and "The Black and The Gold".

 The team has been playing in the National Football League since 1933. But the team had played in many different divisions in the past. The first division of the Pittsburgh Steelers was Eastern Division (1933-1943) for 10 years. Then for one year team played in Western Division and after a year, the team again played in Eastern Division for five years (1946-1949). After playing in the Eastern Division team changed their division and started playing in the American conference for two years (1950-1952). After that, the team played in Eastern Conference for 16 years (1953-1969). From 1970 to present, the team is playing in American Central Conference ( in AFC Central from 1970 to 2001 and in AFC North from 2002 to present) for 52 years.

 

       Pittsburgh Steelers is owned by Rooney Family and the President of the team is Art Rooney II. Art Rooney | was the president of the team from 1933 to 1975 then Dan Roney become the President of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, the general manager and head coach of the team is Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin. 

 

       If we look at the Home Fields of the Pittsburgh Steelers, their very first field was Forbes Field where the team played from 1933 to 1963. From 1958 to 1969 team played in the field of Pitt stadium and then Three Rivers Stadium became the home field of the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1970 to 2000. Now the Home Field of the team is Acrisure Stadium, in which the team started playing in 2001.

 

       The team has been very successful in the past. The team has won many League Championships which include 6 super bowl championships (1974, 1975, 1978, 1979, 2005, and 2008), 8 conference championships (1974, 1975, 1978, 1979, 1995, 2005, 2008 l, and 2010), and 24 Division Championships in the era of 1972-2020.
