The New England Patriots team is an American football team located in Greater Boston. The team belongs to National Football League (NFL) and they play as a member of the American Football Conference. The patriots are currently playing in East Division. The patriots' team was first established in 1959 and played their first season in 1960 (62 years ago). In the beginning, the team was widely known as Boston Patriots for 10 years from 1960 to 1970. Then in 1971, the name of the team was changed to New England Patriots and they are still called by this name. The other nicknames of the team are The Pats, The Evil Empire, The Boston, and The Boogeyman.

 The current uniform of the team is consist of 3 sets COLOR, WHITE, and ALTERNATE. The COLOR uniform is composed of almost full nautical blue, the WHITE uniform is composed of white and nautical blue and the ALTERNATE uniform is consist of red and white. The first song of the Patriots is "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" and the Mascot of the team is Pat Patriot. 

The owner of the New England Patriots is Robert Kraft and he is also the chairman as well as CEO of the team. The president of the team is Jonathan Kraft while the general manager, as well as head coach of the New England Patriots, is Bill Belichick. 

As the New England Patriots team had been appearing in many championships in the past so they have also won many titles. Patriots had been titled 6 times as League Champions (Super Bowl Championship) in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2014, 2016, and 2018. They have been titled 11 times as Conference Champions in AFC (1985, 1996, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2011, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2018. Patriots have earned the Division Championship title 21 times in AFC East (1978, 1986, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019) and 1 time in AFL East (1963). The New England Patriots team has appeared 28 times in Playoff. 

        In the past 62 years, there had been many home fields or stadiums of the team. The first home stadium of the Patriots was Nickerson Field from 1960 to 1962. Then for five years, the team played in Fenway Park from 1963 to 1968, and for a year team played in Alumni Stadium in 1969. In 1970, the New England Patriots played in Harvard Stadium then the home stadium of the team was changed and Foxboro Stadium became the stadium for 30 years from 1971 to 2001. From 2002 to now the team is playing in Gillette Stadium.
